Seventh Bean
It has been almost 2 months... boy I am not as dedicated as I would like...! I will tell you why... I wish I had my blog on my main page... like Neil's. Maybe that will be a next project!

Anywho, Tim Horton's is going good... still working there, a relief to know. Joined soccer for the summer. We have had a practice and one game so far (we lost 4-0 against Just Soccer). Boo hoo. And our second game was tonight... but I didn't go, I was working and decided not to switch my shift because I have a knee injury and thought best to let it rest. Especially after yesturday!!!!

Boy,k what a day yesturday was! Terri Shmerri, a friend of mine now... came with me to the Cup n' Saucer Trail on the Island! (I love the Island so much... the pace is great - I'd live there in a heart beat!) Anywho, Terri and I walked, and walked, and walked, and walked... (you get the idea!) We walked the trail for 5 long hours... good thing I was in good company, Terri, wink wink. I had a blast... we even played a game... the story game we played, where we each take turns telling a story, the same story... and it continues. It is funny, and cute!

Today I worked so I was on my feet for 8 hoursw, you can just imagine the aches and pains I am feeling! So I am sitting for a while before I go to bed. Tomorrow is a sitdown day... or a take-it-easy day anyway!

And one last note... my hair... it is red, bright red like a candy apple! Looks good though with makeup, pretty schnazy!

Sixth Bean
All is well. I received my second pay cheque from Tim Horton's. I have benn there for a month already! Wow. Time goes by quickly when working.

It seems like a different pace when I am working and there is a paycheck coming in. It feels good, let me tell you.

I just found out Neil is moving to B.C. this summer... to Vancouver, more precisely. Gee, I am going to miss him. He won't be coming down to visit nearly as often. As soon as school is out, I am going to go visit him... after my month at the CCRA is up. That starts in two weeks. So I will have no free time, I'll be working during the weekday evenings, and during the weekends at Tim Horton's. This is just temporary, for one month.

Sheldon and I are doing well. We are talking again, and I am happy about that. I see him now and then and we talk ever second day or so... that is a new development... REKINDLING AN OL' FIRE! Let's see how that goes, so far so good.

I have my last three projects to work on... Friday is the last day that I have to hand in my last one. So from now until then... work, work, work. I'll be just right, all will end on a wonderful note... nice and sweet!

Fifth Bean
Home from an evening shift at Tim Horton's. I love my job, it is wonderful! Today went well. Not tooo busy, enough for me to keep up with all the customers and work. I brought home with me two gingerbread men for Neil & Crystal. I intentionally wanted to pay Neil back for the bunny incident... I ate the eye from his chocolate easter bunny one year, and I just about lost my life over it, right Neil. Anyhow, I think we are square now. LOL.

Homework still needs to be done. That is what the morrow is for. Then another evening shift at Tim Horton's - it'll be just as fine.

Right now I am in Heaven. I am listening to my favorite station, CBC and the program that is on air is Radio One. I love it! It reminds me of me. It is what I love. And the drive home was just as quaint. Happy to be alive today. Music really helps. That and giving.

Fourth Bean
Well, a lot has happened since my last blog.

Firstly, on the career front, I have worked at my new job @ Tim Horton's on Saturday and Sunday. It went well. Sunday was a little more laid back in comparison to "Hectic Saturday". But I will "get the hang of it" sooner or later!

Secondly, on the schooling front, I had a presentation today. It went well. No anxiety. No fear. Stefanie, Melanie and I were well prepared. It pays off to prepare one's self, that is for sure! I do know that the work is sometimes discouraging, but when the results come in... boy, it feels good, such a wonderful reward.

Thirdly, a friend of mine - Andre - and I have been talking about revolutionary topics. It is nice to know I am at the pinnacle of conversations these days.

Sheldon and I keep close tabs as well. All is well on this front. Thank you Love.

As for me, well I have gained about 10 lbs in the past two months. It must be the medication I am on that increases my appetite... I tell you I eat until I feel sick. It is an awful feeling, really. I oughta stop. Deal. As of now, I will control my eating more, like I did in the past. No longer will I stuff my belly until I want to puke! Deal.

Anywho, all is well other than that. There are a few more projects that need to be completed. And I work on the weekend again, afternoon shift this time. That'll be neat. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Gramps and Gratien are here; they are rebuilding the bathroom in the basement. They tore down one small wall and pulled it back, so to have a slightly bigger bathroom. Well, that's all folks, for now. Ciao.

Third Bean
It is my first day being an employee of Tim Horton's. What a magnificent & wonderful place to work. It does get some awful busy at times, but I tell myself, one thing at a time... and NO FEAR. Thank you A. for that.

My mom was home to receive me after my first day of work since being out of the hospital, and my stepdad too. Thank you both for being here to greet me on this Saturday afternoon. There is another shift in the morning for me, so power nap this afternoon and to bed nice and early. Another big day tomorrow!

I am currently working on a project for a presentation of the Peruvian culture; it will be demonstated on March 8th, in room L-810 on the 8th floor of the Parker building at Laurentian University, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. You are more than welcome to attend us if in the vicinity. It is intimate and a light mango tasting will be available. My class mates will all be there. And the set up of the individual desks with be circular, or half moon. I am 1/2 done my part, and the other 2 need still be meshed in. All will be fine.

I have an exam as well on professional role development, that is on Wednesday. So the weekend is full booked with career enriching activities, including other activities of regular day life, as it is so called.

Looking to get a counter installed on my site, maybe a little later my search for such a tool will be slightly more active. As for now, just have a few more words... Shannon is down for the weekend! So we will be spending some time together... at least a little! We go way back, from high school... Shannon do you remember 'Hawaian Pal'? Well I do, I was the only one participated. Anywho, I laugh from my gut when I think of that! Thank you Shannon for that tidbit of laughter that rolls over me every now and again.

That is all for now, enough?
Ciao,
Leia

Second Bean
Well, CCRA called and offered me a one month contract. So I accepted that one, as well as the one from Tim Horton's. I will let Tim Horton's know about the one month contract up front so we are on the same page and no schedule conflicts arise.

The only way I was able to accept the contract from CCRA is because the summer placment for nursing is postponed to next year. The community placement that I missed this year due to other circumstances, is a prerequisite. So, I will have that month open for work. I will have to juggle during the one month, but all in all it will be great.

First Bean
First blog up & running. I like this, it is my journaling and a way for you, the outsiders, to keep in touch with what is going on in my life. The newest news is that this site is still in construction, and most likely will be for a while still. Also, I have an interview later today with Tim Horton's. I will keep you posted as to how that goes. I received a phone call for a job with CCRA also, it is for a contract beginning April 12th, 2004. Not sure which way to go yet: Tim Horton's - long term & less money, or CCRA - short term & more money. When I decide I will be sure to post it.
